Pets need enriched and variable feed. Prepared animal feed is not always sufficient. Inform yourself about what fresh feed your pet needs. Any feed sold within the country of Iceland should be free of toxins, never the less, it is advisable to read its list of contents. The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority regulates all imported and domestic pet feed. Be careful that your pet gets enough vitamins and minerals. You can buy vitamin and mineralsupplements to add to the feed.
