The Bio-Siegel is the national umbrella label of Germany, independent of associations and across all brands. It identifies organically produced agricultural products and foods. Thus the Bio-Siegel is an important orientation guide for shopping. The Bio-Siegel may be used to label all products that are produced and inspected in compliance with EEC Regulation no. 2092/91 on organic production of agricultural products.
