Hiking is one of the best and cheapest workout available. It is not fixed with respect to place or time, so you are completely free to train when you like. It is also excellent for getting fresh air. Hiking and walking strengthens the body and can prevent many vascular diseases besides improving mental health. With good shoes on you are ready for the walk. Hiking paths around towns and cities have increased enormously during recent years - check the hiking paths in your vicinity.
