Agronautas invites Reykjavik citizens to participate in a free workshop to design and build communitary ecological infrastructures. The project promotes the relationship of inhabitants with urban gardening and self-sufficiency, working as a citizen laboratory that could be replicated in different Reykjavik districts, in line with the Municipality Plan 2010-2030.

We propose participants to self-build ecological systems and furniture to meet around sustainable and healthy practices (sustainable cooking, food growing etc.) that will be placed in Laugargarður Community garden for the use of that community, the children from Dalheimar after school and the neighborhood in general.

The workshop is free of entrance and is directed to designers, citizens, wood carpenters, students and all people interested in sustainability issues. The workshop will be open everyday during the week (see timetable) and you are welcome to pass by and participate when you are available, please indicate it in the register form or send an email.

The workshop  is organized by Pezestudio in collaboration with Reykjavík City Council, the Botanical Garden of Reykjavík, Laugargarður Community Garden and Dalheimar School. It is funded by EEA Grants.
