As climate warms, berries multiply in number and variety, both in wild nature, and in cultivated gardens. It is possible in areas protected from the wind to cultivate raspberries, huckleberries, blueberry bushes, blackcurrant scrubs, and big juicy strawberries. What cannot be eaten can be frozen. For a tasty treat, dip the berries in a little sugar and freeze them. Later they can be warmed in the oven and used as dessert when winter is approaching. It is also possible to freeze the berries directly.
