Leafbreadpattern - Transforming tradition into Design
Designer Hugrún Ívarsdóttir lives in Akureyri. She studied decoration design at the Dupoint School for Decorators in Copenhagen. She is a freelance designer, working equally on decorations and her own projects. Among them is "Patterned Delicatessen" based on culinary patterns with main emphasis on leafbread.
It is worth mentioning that The Christmas stamp 2007 as well as the Christmas decoration for the national mail service is one of the outcomes of Hugruns project “Patterned delicatessen”.
