To enable recycling of plastics it is necceasary to label the different kinds of plastics as they vary tremendously but might look the same.

They triangles are seven indicating each kind of plastics (1 – 7) the abreviations are for example Nr. 2, HDPE; High Density PolyEthylene.

PETE (Polyetylentereftalat).
HDPE- PE-HD (Polyetylen, high density).
PVC (Polyvinylklorid).
PE-LD (Polyetylen, low density).
PP (Polypropylen).
PS (Polystyren).
